Legendary Arena is a skill-first, web-based deck-building system — heroes assembled for the moment, scenarios that punish the wrong call, standings earned across sessions rather than ground out across hours. This is the project’s first public word.

What this site is

The marketing site you’re reading is the front door. The card registry runs at cards.barefootbetters.com. The game client opens at play.legendary-arena.com when development is ready for it. The three properties run independently so any one can fail without taking the others down.

Why a blog

Most of what’s interesting about building Legendary Arena happens below the surface: a deterministic engine that produces the same state from the same inputs, a brand contract that runs as cross-origin CSS so visual identity stays consistent across properties, three independent sites coordinated through nothing but HTTP. The blog is where that work gets framed — not as release notes, but as the design choices behind them.

What to expect

Posts when there’s something worth saying, not on a schedule. The bar is “would a stranger who plays deck-builders learn something.” That’s the only filter.

The arena is being built. This site is where that work gets written down.
